As editor of Amarillo Magazine, I enjoy experiencing our city and meeting the wonderful people who live here. I was born and raised in Amarillo but I still learn something new everyday. Putting together this publication is both a challenge and a joy to me. We have the hardest working, most dedicated staff, and I’m grateful for each one of them. Outside of work is where the real fun begins. I’m married to my wonderful husband of 10 years, Jerry, and we share our lives with five amazing boys ages 26 to 16 and 2 terrific daughters-in-law. They are each my delight. I’m also recently a grandmother for the first time (to twin boys, no less!) I’ll be the first to admit I’m truly blessed. I love what I do here at Amarillo Magazine and especially enjoy hearing from our readers.Jennie Treadway-Miller
Features Writer

Writing has been a lifelong passion of mine, and after my first semester on the college newspaper staff I realized that I’d rather tell stories than report the news. After graduation, I worked in the non profit world before choosing to work from home - with two little boys in tow - writing a column for eight years in the Chattanooga Times-Free Press. As a recent transplant to the Texas Panhandle, writing for Amarillo Magazine has been the best introduction to this city a girl could ask for. When I’m not writing, I’m running, cooking, or burying my nose in a book.About the Magazine
